New paintings by Sarah Faux featured in Company, a journal of new poetry and visual art.

Sarah Faux lives and works in New Haven, CT and will receive her MFA in painting from Yale University this spring. Her work explores relationships between people, body parts and physical sensations. She received a joint BA/BFA from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design in 2009. Faux has been an artist-in-residence at Yaddo, the Woodstock-Byrdcliffe Guild and Oxbow School of Art. In 2014, she received Yale’s Gloucester Painting Prize. Faux’s work has been featured in group exhibitions at Edward Thorp Gallery, KANSAS, Shoot the Lobster, Fred Giampietro Gallery and the RISD Museum of Art.
